Head of Medical Strategy Field&Ops Neuro

Job Description:

The Head of Medical Strategy, Field & Operations Neuro provides medical and scientific leadership for the Patient Value Unit (PVU) as a key member of the PVU Leadership Team.

They oversee Medical Information operations and are an internal expert for a specific therapy area, providing coaching and training to the Medical Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Active member of the PVU Leadership Team, responsible for managing the Medical Team's development plans.
  • First-line manager of the Field Medical Lead, collaborating to build capabilities and therapy knowledge of the MSL team.
  • Develops the PVU Medical Strategy with the PVU Leadership Team and leads in-field implementation via the MSLs.
  • Oversees overseas developments, adaptation, and implementation of materials and educational programs to advance UCB's medical and scientific agenda.
  • Liaises with regional Connector and Global teams on clinical research projects.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Minimum 7 years' experience in a Medical function, preferably in neurology.
  • Graduate degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or medicine is considered.
