The Electrical Estimator is a crucial position within our organization, responsible for delivering high-quality estimates and overseeing the tender process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality assurance inspections and test plans to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
- Prepare detailed bills of quantities as needed.
- Participate in site inspections during the tender process to ensure smooth project execution.
- Collaborate with clients to meet their expectations regarding project supervision.
- Procure materials and services in accordance with established procedures.
- Deliver cost-to-complete reports in Jobpac and Searo cashflow sheets for components under supervision.
Requirements:
- Licensed Electrician or Bachelor of Electrical/Mechanical Engineering degree.
- Experience in renewables, preferably solar farms and large-scale BESS projects.
- Strong skills in project estimation and proficiency in MS Excel.
- Thorough understanding of HV/LV single-line diagrams (SLDs).
- Ability to summarize and interpret client technical specifications.
