Job Overview
Provide Support and Hope for RecoveryThis role presents an opportunity to collaborate with case managers, offering support and opportunities for clients to engage in activities that promote recovery.
- Support clients in engaging in recreational activities and/or recovery-related activities.
- Transport clients participating in program activities.
- Maintain regular communication with all team members.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with residents.
- Respond appropriately to incidents impacting resident safety and security according to site policies and procedures.
Key Qualifications:
- Lived experience of mental health and homelessness, or understanding of what contributes to recovery from a lived experience perspective.
- Experience supporting people struggling with mental health and homelessness, including volunteer work.
- Ability to co-facilitate groups and willingness to learn necessary skills.
- National Police Record check required prior to commencement.
- NT Working with Children Ochre Card check required prior to commencement.
- Current NT driver's license.
- Certificate of Full Vaccination status for Covid-19.
