Job Overview

Provide Support and Hope for Recovery

This role presents an opportunity to collaborate with case managers, offering support and opportunities for clients to engage in activities that promote recovery.

  • Support clients in engaging in recreational activities and/or recovery-related activities.
  • Transport clients participating in program activities.
  • Maintain regular communication with all team members.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with residents.
  • Respond appropriately to incidents impacting resident safety and security according to site policies and procedures.

Key Qualifications:

  • Lived experience of mental health and homelessness, or understanding of what contributes to recovery from a lived experience perspective.
  • Experience supporting people struggling with mental health and homelessness, including volunteer work.
  • Ability to co-facilitate groups and willingness to learn necessary skills.
  • National Police Record check required prior to commencement.
  • NT Working with Children Ochre Card check required prior to commencement.
  • Current NT driver's license.
  • Certificate of Full Vaccination status for Covid-19.
