Senior Clinical Training Specialist

Key to our coding team's success is a professional educator who can drive staff development by providing targeted training, conducting thorough audits, and collaborating closely with clinicians and specialists.
This crucial role plays a pivotal part in elevating the accuracy and quality of clinical coding and documentation. You will utilise your extensive knowledge of the Australian Coding Standards to support the department in achieving targets, securing successful audits, and offering ongoing guidance to stakeholders.
As part of a skilled team working in a collaborative environment, you will use our customised Electronic Medical Record system to uphold the highest standards in clinical coding.
We are seeking an experienced coding educator with:
- a recognised clinical coding qualification
- 5+ years' experience in Australian Coding Standards
- 3+ years' experience in coding education and audit experience in a tertiary level hospital
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, organisational skills, and a keen eye for detail. They will also be able to prioritise workload effectively to achieve key performance indicators and meet deadlines.
