AI Skills Manager Job Description

We are looking for a skilled professional to fill the role of AI Skills Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure our engineers have access to the best training and development opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar role within a technology environment, with a good understanding of engineering skills development and training methodologies. Excellent collaboration and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.

A background in technology is preferred but not mandatory. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in an Agile environment, including tooling such as Jira & Confluence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with our AI Powered Engineering squad to ensure that engineers are embracing, learning and utilising AI tools

• Promote and drive all engineering skills-driven training among engineers

• Ensure that job architecture is refreshed often to ensure alignment to best practice

• Maintain a transparent skills curriculum that guides engineers in their development

• Work closely with the technology skilling team to ensure training programs are aligned with our goal of raising engineering skills, in particular the use of AI
