Job Summary:
Safety and Environment LeadWe are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Safety and Environmental initiatives, promoting a proactive and practical safety culture within our organization.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and excellent communication skills. They will be responsible for advising leaders, supporting safety projects, and driving safety culture across the organization.
Main Responsibilities:
- Be the on-site HSE expert, advising leaders, supporting safety projects, and driving safety culture.
- Coach frontline teams, oversee contractors, and manage daily safety issues in the field
- Coordinate incident investigations, hazard reporting, and compliance activities.
- Assist with Occupational Hygiene activities, such as gas testing and noise monitoring
- Maintain and improve HSE and Contractor Management systems and documentation.
- Run toolbox talks, emergency drills, and HSE forums.
- Track performance, report KPIs, and support continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the wider HSE team to deliver site-wide programs and keep training up to date.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Health, Safety & Environment or related field.
- Significant HSE experience in Oil & Gas or Major Hazard Facilities.
- Proficient in gas testing (Inert / BTEX / Ammonia).
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Experience with HSE reporting and management systems.
