Secondary Visual Art Teacher Job

We are seeking an experienced educator to join our team as a Temporary Part-Time Secondary Visual Art Teacher.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have the ability to teach visual arts to students in a secondary school setting, and will be required to develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students. The successful applicant will also be responsible for assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching: Teach visual arts to students in a secondary school setting.
  • Lesson Planning: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Assessment: Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Certification: Four-year trained teacher qualification.
  • Licence: Active NESA Accreditation.
  • Clearance: Current paid NSW Working with Children Check number.
  • Training: Completion of anaphylaxis training and CPR training.

This is a part-time position working Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with a competitive salary package according to the New South Wales & Australian Capital Territory Catholic Systemic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2023.
