Labour Solutions Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join their team in the demolition and asbestos removal industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and safety-focused individual to take on a challenging role in managing onsite projects.

Estimated Salary: AU$ 80,000 - AU$ 110,000 per annum based on location and experience.

As the Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of demolition projects while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety throughout the process. Your leadership skills and experience will be essential in controlling and supervising the site workforce, liaising with clients and regulatory bodies, and conducting prestart and SWMS inductions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Plan and manage onsite projects effectively, ensuring timely completion and quality outcomes.
  • Workforce Supervision: Control and supervise the site workforce, promoting a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Clients and Regulatory Liaison: Liaise with clients and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Inductions and Training: Conduct prestart and SWMS inductions, and provide training and guidance to site personnel as required.
  • Risk Assessment and Management: Perform project risk assessments and suggest improvements for workplace safety.
  • Maintenance and Service: Maintain and service company-owned equipment and machinery.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A current driver's license and general induction card are essential for this role.
  • Relevant asbestos removal qualifications (CPCCBC4051A, CPCCBC3014A, CPCCDE3015A) and minimum of 5 years' experience supervising site works are preferred.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret drawings, understanding of industry standards and safety codes, and previous listing on PCBU Demolition Licence in Qld as a Supervisor are also desirable.
