Food And Beverage Attendant Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team. This role involves welcoming guests, recommending food and drink offerings, and ensuring exceptional service.

Holiday Inn Werribee is an IHG hotel showcasing the new open lobby concept.

Situated in the heart of Werribee city centre, the hotel occupies the top 4 floors of a mixed-use building with sweeping views across to the You Yangs and Wyndham Harbour.

The hotel offers 150 stylishly appointed guest rooms, gym, outdoor garden courtyard, all-day dining, and modern conference and events spaces.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Welcome guests and recommend food and drink offerings while ensuring service meets hotel brand standards
  • Prepare outlets prior to service, including table, buffet, bar, and mis en place setup
  • Restock outlet fridges to par levels, maintain stock correctly according to stock control regulations
  • Ensure guest enquiries and restaurant dining reservations are followed through professionally
Key Requirements:
  • A la carte dining service experience in a busy restaurant or hotel environment
  • Function and event experience from corporate to social gatherings (200-300 people)
  • Confident with three plate carry
  • Beverage knowledge of wines, beers, spirits, and creative flair when mixing cocktails
  • Food knowledge of modern Australian cuisine
  • Computer literacy in POS Infosys and PMS Opera
  • Previous cashiering experience is highly desirable
