Job Title:

Learning and Development Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Learning and Development professional to lead our training, development, and educational programs.

  • Lead and guide staff in their personal and professional growth through education, training, and capability development.
  • Coordinate and evaluate internal and external education programs to ensure hospital requirements are met.

This role will be responsible for developing strategic plans and initiatives to enhance the skills, knowledge, and attributes of staff. The successful candidate will partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that education initiatives align with wider strategic priorities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A Registered Nurse with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA and post-registration nursing and/or education qualification relevant to clinical area.
  • Demonstrated experience in the development, implementation, delivery, and evaluation of education programs and learning solutions for a healthcare facility.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current clinical practice in an acute care setting with a commitment to ongoing self-development.
  • Sound understanding of educational quality standards with demonstrated analytical and critical thinking ability.
