
Prenatal Specialist

Aid in the prenatal, delivery and postnatal care of newborns and their mothers by working in private and public hospitals.
As a prenatal care specialist, you'll play a vital role in supporting women, newborns, and their families through pregnancy, labour, and the postpartum period. With a large client base across public and private facilities, you'll enjoy the flexibility to choose from a wide range of shifts or take advantage of advanced bookings for a more consistent schedule.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing safe, evidence-based midwifery care through prenatal, delivery, and postnatal stages
- Supporting and counselling women and families through labour and recovery
- Monitoring and assessing the wellbeing of mothers and newborns
- Administering medications and treatments, including neonatal resuscitation
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care

- Minimum 1 year of recent (within last 12 months) clinical experience (1,976 total hours)
- Bachelor of Midwifery
- Current, unrestricted certification
- Work rights in Australia
- A Valid National Police Check
- Current Employee Working with Children's Check
- Up-to-date Vaccinations
- Basic Life Support / Practical CPR Certification
- Evidence of training in post-partum haemorrhage management and neonatal resuscitation
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong observational and leadership abilities
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Calm, professional approach with a commitment to quality patient care
