About The Role
  • As a Project Controller, you'll define goals, manage budgets and schedules, and drive performance across all phases of project execution-from planning and procurement to progress analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain project WBS, schedules, budgets, and baselines
  • Monitor progress, expenditure, and forecasts to completion
  • Conduct variance analysis for cost and schedule, recommending corrective actions
  • Apply Earned Value Management in line with Australian Standards
  • Manage cost control, invoicing, procurement, and contracts
  • Support project change management and risk/opportunity tracking
  • Facilitate progress review meetings and generate performance reports
  • Oversee document control systems and ensure compliance
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Project Controller, ideally with engineering exposure
  • Proven experience in fee estimates, tenders, contracts, claims, variations, and performance measurement
  • Strong skills in scheduling, cost engineering, and reporting
  • Ability to work independently with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset with a commitment to safety
  • PB PM training/accreditation or equivalent
  • Familiarity with industry associations (PMI, AIPM, ACES) is a plus
  • Full working rights in Australia
