### Role Overview
We are seeking a Specialist/Consultant Anaesthetist to join our team at CC Medical in a beautiful coastal location. This is a permanent full or part-time position available.
### Key Responsibilities
* Provide safe, high-quality anaesthetic services
* Assist with direction, service planning, and clinical governance for the Anaesthetic Team, Pre-Admission Clinic, and High Dependency Unit
* Oversee staff including GP Anaesthetists
* Deliver general and regional anaesthesia, as well as obstetric services such as epidurals and spinal anaesthesia
* Participate in the out-of-hours on-call roster
### Additional Benefits
* Professional Development Leave 3.6 weeks p.a.
* Professional Development Allowance ($21,000 p.a.)
* Motor Vehicle Allowance
* Overtime and on-call allowances
* Attraction and Retention Incentive Allowance (Granted Private Practice arrangements)

### Hospital and Location
Our hospital is a 70-bed facility catering to a regional population of approximately 65,000. The location offers a sub-tropical climate, proximity to islands, waterways, and beaches, providing year-round boating, fishing, swimming, and surfing opportunities. The city has a unique appearance with a gorgeous harbour, a clean and green environment, and delicious seafood options.
### Mandatory Qualifications
* Registration or eligibility for registration as a Specialist in Anaesthesia with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) or substantially comparable assessment
