Job Summary:
The role of a Traffic Manager involves overseeing the safe and efficient flow of traffic in designated areas. This includes managing traffic zones, providing clear instructions to drivers and passengers, and enforcing regulations to maintain smooth operations.
As a Traffic Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of vehicles and pedestrians, ensuring that all necessary protocols are followed, and responding promptly to any incidents or concerns.
- Ensuring the effective management of traffic lanes and intersections.
- Directing the flow of traffic during peak hours or special events.
- Providing assistance to elderly or mobility-impaired individuals.
- Communicating clearly and effectively with drivers and passengers via radio or other means.
- Monitoring safety and responding to any incidents or concerns.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid Blue Card - Traffic Control Accreditation.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
- A strong customer-first attitude and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Good understanding of traffic management principles and practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
