Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with expertise in Cisco technologies to join our high-performing technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with switching, routing, and wireless networking, as well as exposure to security solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Infrastructure Support: Maintain and optimize Cisco-based enterprise network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN, firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN).
  • Troubleshooting: Resolve complex network issues and ensure high availability and performance.
  • Project Delivery: Assist in the delivery of network projects, upgrades, and security improvements.
  • Collaboration: Implement scalable network solutions in collaboration with senior engineers.
  • Incident Response: Monitor and respond to network incidents, following ITIL processes and best practice.
  • Teamwork: Partner with internal teams and external vendors to achieve successful outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Cisco Technologies: Strong hands-on experience with Cisco technologies across switching, routing, and wireless networking.
  • Security Solutions: Exposure to security solutions such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention.
  • Additional Vendors: Familiarity with additional enterprise vendors (Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar) highly regarded.
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Solid troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex network issues.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Monitoring Tools: Experience with monitoring and network management tools (SolarWinds, Wireshark, etc.).
  • CCNA/CCNP Certification: CCNA/CCNP or equivalent certification highly regarded.
