About the Role

The Employment Coach will be responsible for managing a caseload of up to 80 customers with a prior offender history, with the objective of securing employment for them. The role will involve case management, focusing on improving customers' capacity to work by stabilizing non-vocational issues and building vocational skills and experience.

The Employment Coach will also be responsible for undertaking 'reverse marketing' of customers to suitable employers and running group-based job search sessions to motivate and promote further job placements for customers. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for recruitment and working with those in need, an ability to meet individual targets, and contribute to a strong site team.

This is a full-time, ongoing role based at Osborne Park, with a 9-day fortnight and a dedicated and fixed day off every second week. The role offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to salary sacrifice.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • A passion and drive for helping people find employment;
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to develop positive relationships with a diverse range of customers, employers, and staff;
  • The ability to assess, match, and refer customers to appropriate job opportunities and to advocate directly to employers;
  • The ability to achieve individual targets and work to clearly defined KPIs;
  • A minimum typing speed of 30 WPM;
  • Strong administration skills and IT literacy, data entry, and typing skills, with experience in Word, Excel, and Outlook;
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure;
  • Previous experience in the employment services or call centre industry or similar.

You will also be required to have a minimum Certificate IV in Employment Services or Career Development or a willingness to study, and experience in Employment Services or a related Service industry.
