Warehouse Equipment Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Equipment Technician to join our team.

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance of customer units, including preventative service and break-downs in a timely manner.
  2. Maintain professional level of customer service with all clients and customers.
  3. Diagnose, repair, and maintain various material handling equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, and automated systems.
  4. Conduct preventative maintenance services to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
  5. Respond to service calls efficiently, providing on-site technical support and troubleshooting.
  6. Maintain accurate service records and reports.
  7. Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that exceed expectations.
  8. Collaborate with the wider service team to ensure high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Current Driver's license.
  • Relevant trade qualification (Forklift Mechanic, Automotive Electrician/Light Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle, Plant, Diesel Mechanic).
  • Previous experience within the forklift industry or similar in an associated industry.
  • Proven experience in servicing and maintaining material handling equipment or similar machinery.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
