**Job Title:**

Mechanical Fitter – Heavy Plant Equipment Specialist

 

A mechanical fitter specialist is required to work on fixed and heavy plant equipment, utilizing their technical skills and experience to ensure optimal performance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strip and reassemble gearboxes, crushers, screens, and other fixed/heavy plant equipment, adhering to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall performance and safety standards.

 

Requirements:

  • Relevant trade qualifications (e.g., mechanical fitting, engineering)
  • Current driver's license with a reliable vehicle for transporting equipment and personnel
  • At least 3 years' experience working on fixed and heavy plant equipment, preferably in a similar role
