Heavy Plant Equipment Technician

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Plant Equipment Technician to join our team on a full-time or casual basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for tackling weekly shutdowns, planned maintenance and breakdowns on heavy plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Control: Ensure repairs meet company guidelines and cost targets
  • Collaborate: Work with customers to achieve company goals
  • Fleet Maintenance: Breakdown support, planned maintenance, servicing on Liebherr, Hitachi, CAT, and Komatsu equipment

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Pay Rates: $80.00+ per hour full-time or $90.00+ casual
  • 12% Super on all hours
  • FIFO Travel: Hotel and Flights provided from major cities in Australia
  • DIDO: Local residents of Kalgoorlie may apply
  • 7:7 Rotating Roster: Perth or Kalgoorlie based
  • 190 Hours Paid Annual Leave: At the full hourly rate
  • Pay Cycle: Fortnightly
  • $5K Refer-a-Mate Bonus: For Trade roles only
  • Extra Shift Incentive: For hours worked outside your 2:2 roster

Requirements:

  • Australian Working Rights: Must have full working rights in Australia without the need for visa sponsorship
  • Trade Certificate: Australian recognised qualification in Diesel Fitting or Mobile Plant
  • Mine Site Exposure: 3 years minimum experience with large heavy plant equipment
  • Driver's Licence: Current Australian licence (mandatory)
  • Tickets: Working at Heights, EWP, Forklift (highly regarded) Dogging and Rigging (highly favourable)
