Workforce Planning Professional

We are seeking a professional to join our team at the Heathwood Distribution Centre. As a workforce planner, you will be responsible for providing short and long-term workforce & labour planning for the Sydney Regional Distribution Centre (DC) team.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide weekly labour planning requirements based on volume forecasts and current work standards within established guidelines.
  • Implement strategic initiatives to support ongoing operational efficiencies.
  • Identify resources gaps & potential improvements and solutions.
  • Prepare data for weekly planning meetings with site stakeholders and labour agencies.
  • Manage and maintain the labour management system.
  • Contribute to the National Workforce Planning strategy and framework by ensuring consistent practices are implemented and followed.

Your Skills

  • Experience operating labour management systems and warehouse management systems is desirable.
  • High level computer literacy proficiency (eg MS and/or Google Suite).
  • A high level of organisational skills with the ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to use initiative and work under pressure.
  • A high level of prioritisation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
