Project Coordinator Opportunity
This is a unique chance to lead the planning, consultation, delivery, and evaluation of a project supporting children and young people from serving personnel across Queensland.
The ideal candidate will have experience in working with children and young people, specifically from the armed forces or those who work directly or in partnership with them.
A sound understanding of educational youth work approaches, safeguarding issues, and public protection training is essential.
The post holder must be able to demonstrate competence, knowledge, and skills in coordinating services and/or projects, motivating staff to effect changes within their services, and using resources imaginatively to develop tailored packages for children and young people.
Able to work in partnership, identify support services, handle complex issues, and draw appropriate conclusions. Experience in quality assurance processes, evaluation, and report writing is also desirable.
The coordinator will play a key role in developing strategic partnerships with schools, communities, and local services to deliver the project's objectives.
