
Community Support Liaison

We are seeking experienced and passionate individuals to provide high-quality support and foster independence for our clients with disabilities.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, empathy, and a genuine commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of people with disabilities. They will also be flexible to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and some weekends.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing community access to our clients by organising activities designed to develop practical life skills and help them achieve their goals.
- Assisting with personal care, meal planning, cooking, light cleaning, and facilitating community connection through socialising and going on outings.
- Supporting clients during daily activities, such as going for a walk, going to the movies, or accompanying them to appointments.
- A Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is advantageous.
- The capacity to meet the physical requirements of the role, which may involve manual handling tasks.
- Commitment to privacy and confidentiality.
- Good computer skills and experience using Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Hold or be willing to obtain relevant certifications, including a Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid, CPR, and a National Criminal History Check.
