Job Summary

As a Craft Supervisor – Structural, you will lead a team and supervise superintendents and/or craft professionals on a project. Your oversight will ensure craft professionals have the tools required to be productive, comply with project policies, procedures, and job site work rules and procedures, and perform within specifications, schedules and budgets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership / Supervision: Supervises and/or directs craft activities as assigned.
  • Scheduling: Schedules work to be performed and reviews work accomplished by each craft.
  • Planning / Productivity: Determines workforce requirements, coordinates established area operational plans.
  • Tools, Materials & Equipment: Monitors tool and equipment usage on the site, oversees the preparation of Field Material Requisitions for tools and consumables.
  • Safety & Quality: Ensures the most current design document is used to complete the work, ensures assigned construction operations and subcontractors' performance comply with specifications and within schedules and budgets.
Requirements
  • 10+ years relevant field experience in the assembly and erection of structural steel on large scale projects.
  • Minimum 5+ years in a Structural Steel Supervisory role.
  • Extensive knowledge in constructability and sequencing of steel structures.
  • Current High Risk Work License in Intermediate or Advanced Rigging or proven work history as a qualified Rigger.
  • Knowledge of EPCM contract Management, and the Contractor(s) and their subcontractor's (if applicable) responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of construction technologies.
  • Knowledge of supervisory functions relating to field activities.
  • Familiarity with current industry quality standards.
