Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our global clinical research efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing strategic plans to support new business proposals and deliver contracted work in clinical trials.

The successful candidate will have expertise in one or more operational areas and will work closely with local communities to build trust and ensure diverse patient recruitment.

  • Develop innovative delivery strategies and solutions for Early and Late Phase studies or programs.
  • Collaborate with experts to differentiate Emerald Clinical from competitors.
  • Support long-term business growth through collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Engage and coordinate Operations Area Lead team members to align with the global operational strategy.
  • Develop training materials and resources to support project leads.

New Business Development

Partner with our Business Development team to evaluate and manage new opportunities. Collaborate with them to prepare for and conduct customer-facing meetings, develop and review project budgets aligned with the requested project strategy, and attend and present at customer meetings.

Project Delivery Management

Act as the Emerald Clinical project champion for awarded projects. Guide and mentor assigned Project Leads through comprehensive handover of awarded project, define and communicate the project team profile and organizational structure.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a related science or health care discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years global clinical research experience.
  • Minimum 5 years global business development experience.
  • Expert experience in one or more operational areas.
