We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Specialist Family Lawyer to join our team at Gorilla Jobs. As a Senior Specialist Family Lawyer, you will be responsible for leading a team of junior lawyers and paralegals, training and mentoring them to become efficient and successful lawyers. You will also be dealing with complex cases and managing a caseload of 45-50 files. Your expertise in family law will be invaluable in this role, and you will be expected to achieve billable targets of 5-8 hours per day while managing your team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of junior lawyers and paralegals, providing guidance and support to ensure their success
  • Train and mentor junior lawyers and paralegals to develop their skills and expertise
  • Manage a caseload of 45-50 files, including complex cases in family law
  • Achieve billable targets of 5-8 hours per day, while managing your team
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and efficiency
Requirements
  • 5-20+ years of experience in family law, preferably from private practice
  • Accredited specialist family lawyer desirable
  • Ability to achieve billable targets and manage a team
  • Track record of team management and developing team members
  • Good attitude and willingness to work hard
