You will be responsible for leading, supporting, and educating teams consisting of senior medical practitioners, junior medical officers, nursing staff, administrative staff, and support staff.
Collaboration with organisations like the Royal Flying Doctor Service and the Rural Clinical School of Western Australia will be key to managing unique cases presented while delivering exceptional emergency care to the community.

About the Emergency Department:The Kalgoorlie Hospital Emergency Department is the primary emergency care hub for the Goldfields region, managing over 25,000 presentations each year.
Approximately 25% of patients identify as Aboriginal, highlighting the department's vital role in delivering culturally responsive care and improving health outcomes for a diverse population.
The ED operates 24/7 with a rotating roster that includes day, evening, and late shifts, along with on-call coverage from 23:00 to 08:00 to ensure continuous emergency services.
