Senior Intelligence Lead

The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission seeks an experienced professional to fill the role of Senior Intelligence Lead. This position is responsible for leading a team that provides high-quality intelligence and analysis to inform strategic, operational, and tactical planning.
This role involves:
- Providing leadership and guidance to effectively manage the team consistent with statutory responsibilities and the organisation's strategic direction and operational policies.
- Leading the development of regulatory intelligence capabilities and products to support regulatory activity.
- Conducting high-level intelligence analysis on complex issues and identifying opportunities, solutions, and strategies to address contentious, long-term, and emergent issues.
- Establishing effective communication systems to ensure stakeholders are consulted and information is disseminated as required.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and qualifications:
- Strong experience in engaging with stakeholders regarding difficult and sensitive issues.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to understand and communicate complex findings.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to self-manage multiple competing priorities while working to tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including quality assurance ability.
- Flexibility to work independently and collaboratively with geographically dispersed teams.
- Strong data and regulatory intelligence literacy and reporting skills, including structured analytical techniques.
- A thorough understanding of the role of data, intelligence, and information in modern regulatory agencies.
- Ability to manage, develop, and lead a team of data and intelligence specialists.
