Lead Civil Designer Position

Are you a seasoned civil designer looking for a new challenge? Ausenco is seeking a Lead Civil Designer to join their team in Brisbane. This exciting opportunity will see you provide design expertise and supervision to our civil project design team.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive design strategies for civil projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address design and scheduling issues, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and other project members, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering growth and development within the team.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Earthworks, Roadworks, and Drainage design, preferably in the mining or heavy industrial sectors.
  • Advanced diploma or equivalent in Engineering, such as a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • Proven track record of leading civil project design teams, with a strong ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and 12D.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on stakeholder engagement and relationship-building.
