Job Title: Communications and Media Advisor

We are seeking an experienced Communications and Media Advisor to join our team at Hudson Australia. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering content and strategic communications advice across various channels to inform and increase engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage content, including intranet, emails, newsletters, video, images, presentations, briefs, speeches, and regular staff communication.
  • Prepare and review communications collateral, including messaging, digital content, promotional material, staging, and schedules, as well as provide support for campaigns, events, and initiatives.
  • Assist in monitoring, moderating, and developing content for online responses on social media and establish a proactive media online presence.
  • Prepare media releases, publicity packages/media kits to support events, partnerships, and sponsorships.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years' experience in a Corporate Communications or Media role.
  • Demonstrable experience in producing high-quality communications collateral, including promotions, digital campaigns, media releases, and briefings.
  • Knowledge of current social media and digital communication tools, rules, processes, and procedures.
  • Demonstrated track record of strong project management/publications delivery, engaging stakeholders, and achieving desired outcomes.
  • Exceptional time management skills, managing multiple and competing priorities.
  • High competency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications:
  • Relevant tertiary Communications qualification or extensive work experience in a related field is desirable.
  • Triple COVID-19 vaccinated will be required.
  • A current car license will be required.
