We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Enrolled Nurse to join our team.
Enrolled NurseThis is an exciting opportunity for a caring and compassionate individual to provide exceptional care to patients in our Surgical Unit at Prince of Wales Hospital.
The Role:
- As an Enrolled Nurse, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team providing person-centred care;
- You will support other nurses/midwives and care roles to ensure that patients experience exceptional care that is safe, high quality and compassionate;
- You will work under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse and remain accountable for your actions and allocated functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Practice nursing in accordance with the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Boards' Standards of Practice;
- Uphold the rights, confidentiality, dignity and respect of patients;
- Accept accountability and responsibility for own actions;
- Interpret information from various sources to contribute to planning appropriate care;
- Collaborate with the RN, patient and healthcare team to develop plans of care;
- Provide skilled and timely care to patients while promoting their independence and involvement in care decision-making;
- Communicate and use documentation to inform and report care;
- Provide nursing care informed by research evidence;
- Practice within safety and quality improvement guidelines and standards;
- Engage in ongoing development of self as a professional.
