As a Freelance Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our networks.

We are seeking an experienced professional who can design, deploy and manage network configurations and hardware to meet our organizational requirements.

You will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for network-related issues, monitoring network performance and collaborating with IT teams to assess and implement new technologies that enhance overall network efficiency.

Additionally, you will be required to maintain up-to-date documentation of network configurations and operations, implement network security measures and evaluate and improve network systems by identifying areas for enhancement and implementing upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Network Design and Deployment: Design, deploy and manage network configurations and hardware to meet organizational requirements.
  • Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network-related issues to ensure seamless operations.
  • Network Performance Monitoring: Monitor network performance to ensure system availability and reliability to optimize service levels.
  • Collaboration and Innovation: Collaborate with IT teams to assess and implement new technologies that enhance overall network efficiency.

Requirements:

  • CCNA Certification: Proficient with CCNA certification.
  • Cisco Systems Expertise: Strong expertise in Cisco systems, facilitating robust network management and implementation with established protocols.
  • Firewall Configuration: Comprehensive understanding of firewall configurations to ensure network security and data protection from threats.
  • Access Point Setup: Experience with Access Point set-ups for optimal wireless network coverage and performance in diverse environments.
  • Switching and Routing: In-depth knowledge in Switching and Routing, essential for efficient data flow and connectivity across network infrastructures.
  • Troubleshooting: Accomplished in Troubleshooting network issues, focusing on swift identification and resolution to minimize downtime.
  • Cabling and Rack Setup: Cabling and Rack Setup skills, vital for maintaining organized and efficient physical network infrastructure.
