This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, providing comprehensive assessments, brief interventions, and supportive care to those in need.

  • Deliver evidence-based psychosocial assessments, low-intensity brief intervention treatment, and evaluation services
  • Participate in clinical team meetings to discuss case coordination, intervention strategies, and group work opportunities
  • Complete intake assessments as required, ensuring timely and effective support for clients
Key Responsibilities:
  1. To provide quality mental health assessment and intervention services to adults and young people
  2. To develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and client-centered approaches
  3. To maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, including assessment results, treatment plans, and progress notes

Requirements:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., psychology, social work, occupational therapy) and registration with the relevant professional body
  • Demonstrated experience working with adults and young people experiencing mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders
  • Skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning
  • An ability to work effectively within a team environment, prioritizing collaboration and mutual respect
