Job OverviewThis is a part-time opportunity based in Burnie, Tasmania. We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team.
- Deliver comprehensive psychosocial assessments and low-intensity interventions.
- Work with clients using the Brief Intervention Model of care, providing focused psychological therapy and generalist counselling.
- Collaborate with our clinical team to provide comprehensive mental health assessment, case coordination, and intervention or group work as required.
- Must have General or Provisional AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Mental Health Occupational Therapist, Mental Health Nurse, or AASW registration as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker.
- Demonstrated knowledge, expertise, and skill in Brief Intervention Models of Care, commitment to ongoing development, and willingness to participate in a continuous learning environment.
- Well-developed judgment and evaluation skills, including assessment and care planning.
- A sound understanding of public, non-government, and private mental health systems and programs, as well as associated non-mental health programs in a community setting.
