Senior Accounting Role with Flexibility and Impact

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting professional to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns, and BAS for various entities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Tax Return Preparation: Prepare and lodge tax returns for various entities, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax legislation.
  • BAS Lodgement: Lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) for clients, ensuring accurate reporting of business transactions.
  • Strategic Advisory Services: Provide strategic tax and business advisory services to clients, helping them make informed decisions about their financial operations.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
Requirements:
  • Certification: CA or CPA qualified (or near completion).
  • Experience: 5+ years' experience in public practice accounting.
  • Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of Xero, XPM, and cloud-based platforms.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent client relationship and communication skills.
  • Time Management: A proactive, self-driven approach with strong time management and attention to detail.
