Job Opportunity

We are seeking experienced theatre technicians to join our team at the Wagga Civic Theatre. The successful applicants will have previous experience in backstage theatre work, audio, lighting or rigging and be skilled in providing high quality technical and production support.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Safely and efficiently delivering technical and production support for a variety of commercial and community user groups and customers;
  • Maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to WHS requirements;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in backstage theatre work, audio, lighting or rigging;
  • Knowledge and understanding of stage craft, including audio, lighting, audio visual, projection and staging;
  • A strong ability to work well as part of a team;
  • A high level of motivation and commitment to WHS requirements;

This is a casual position with a seven day roster, offering a competitive hourly rate and superannuation. Successful applicants will also have the opportunity to work on a variety of productions and events throughout the year.
