Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated geotechnical engineer to join our team in Perth. The successful candidate will oversee and coordinate geotechnical field investigation programs, work closely with Engineers-of-Record on long-term operational projects, write technical reports, proposals, and papers, develop geotechnical assessments and analysis capabilities, and build strong relationships with clients.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified geotechnical engineer to join a leading provider of geotechnical engineering services in Australia. Our team is expanding, and we are looking for someone who can make a significant contribution to our growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and co-ordinate geotechnical field investigation programs
  • Work closely with Engineers-of-Record on long-term operational projects
  • Write technical reports, proposals, and papers
  • Develop geotechnical assessments and analysis capabilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
Requirements
  • Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (required)
  • Be eligible for membership of Engineers Australia and either have or be working towards CPENG status (required)
  • 1-5+ years of consulting experience operating within a geotechnical practice group
Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience with using geotechnical logging software (Tablogs, Holebase, etc)
  • Competent in the use of GIS or CAD package/s
  • Working knowledge of geotechnical investigation standards and practices
