Key Responsibilities

The Return to Work Coordinator plays a pivotal role in providing timely intervention and rehabilitation services. This position focuses on facilitating effective return-to-work processes while contributing to injury prevention strategies through the implementation of health and wellbeing initiatives.

This involves adhering to relevant policies, promoting continuous improvement, ensuring safety standards are met, completing mandatory training, demonstrating professional interactions, and utilising resources responsibly.

Main Accountabilities
  • Ensuring compliance with Council's Code of Conduct and relevant legislation.
  • Promoting a culture of innovation and excellence in community service delivery.
  • Maintaining physical and psychological well-being in the workplace by adhering to safety standards.
  • Completing mandatory training in a timely manner to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Demonstrating professionalism and teamwork through interactions with colleagues and external partners.
About the Team

The Injury Management Team is dedicated to fostering community well-being through innovative services and support. We value the contributions of every team member and strive to create a positive work environment that promotes collaboration and growth.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, including Return to Work Coordinator Certification.
  • A current Driver's Licence.
  • Proven experience in incident and claims management, human resources, and office administration.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to interpret and apply workers' compensation legislation effectively.
  • Experience with Figtree Systems software and working with external providers is desirable.
