Job Description:

Echuca Community for the Aged (ECA) provides first-class residential aged care and independent living for elderly members of the Echuca Moama community.

Our experienced and professional staff play a fundamental role in enriching the lives of all residents – holding respect, compassion, empathy, and integrity as their cornerstones of care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring that our resident care and treatments are documented to meet regulatory requirements
  • Communicating effectively with residents, medical practitioners, allied health professionals, and relatives
  • Providing leadership and supervision of PCA's
  • Being flexible and passionate about aged care

This is a permanent part-time position with hours being open to negotiation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:Essential Requirements:
  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Aged care experience preferred
  • Assessment and care planning skills
  • Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and quality management systems
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Experience in residential care computer systems
  • Highly organized, flexible, and committed to exceptional resident care
  • Ability to create sustainable and positive relationships with colleagues, residents, families, and visiting allied health specialists
