
Global EH&S Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) professional to lead our global EHS management system and team. This is a senior leadership role that requires strong strategic thinking, technical expertise, and leadership skills.
About the Role- This is a proactive role where you will develop and administer a compliant EHS management system and overall program.
- You will be responsible for leading the development of tracking, analysis, and assessment of global EHS metrics and advising management on company impacts and improvements.
- You will provide expert advice on WHS related matters, emerging issues, and impacts to the organisation.
- You will oversee the region-wide accident and incident investigation process (excluding manufacturing) and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- You will play an active and integral role in the Global EHS team.
- You will proactively lead the risk management process for the region.
- You will lead the workers compensation and return to work program.
- You will assist in the preparation, completion, and timely submission of related agency regulatory reports.
- You will play a key role in emergency response planning and incident response, office and work from home ergonomics, accident report oversight, pandemic planning.
- You must have 10+ years of EH&S management experience, both strategic and operational.
- You must have excellent knowledge and experience in understanding and implementing requirements for WHS legislation, Global Standards, Codes of Practice, and guidance for Australia and at least some of the following APAC countries - New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia.
- You must have experience in developing and implementing a compliant safety management system.
- Experience in developing and implementing environmental initiatives is highly desirable.
- You must demonstrate leadership experience and capabilities.
- You must be able to lead and motivate a team, and manage and train individuals at various skill and organisational levels.
- You must have strong planning & execution, organisational skills, and attention to details.
- Develop and administer a compliant EHS management system and overall program.
- Lead the development of tracking, analysis, and assessment of global EHS metrics.
