We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our data analytics efforts and drive strategic decision-making.

">Job Title: Data Analytics Leader

This is a leadership role that requires technical direction, management, coordination, and governance of data analytics services for covert and technical operations. The leader will be responsible for ensuring all collected data is handled in accordance with data governance, evidential, statutory, and internal policy requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing technical direction and leadership to ensure the organization's data analytics capabilities are well-positioned to meet the expectations of a dynamic national environment.
  • Ensuring the effective collection, management, and analysis of covert and overt data to support law enforcement operations.
  • Mentoring and leading a team of technical professionals and subject matter experts to deliver high-quality data analytics services.
  • Representing the organization at external forums to raise the profile and value of its data analytics capabilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Australian citizenship
  • Negative Vetting 2 security clearance or ability to obtain one
  • Formal tertiary qualifications in data analytics or equivalent experience
  • Strong technical leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
