Groundwater Modelling Team Lead

SLR Consulting is seeking a seasoned Groundwater Modelling Team Lead to join our dynamic and collaborative environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a virtual team of groundwater modelling experts across multiple locations, delivering high-quality projects, and driving business growth.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a virtual team of groundwater modelling experts to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth, expand our client base, and increase revenue.
  • Collaborate with technical experts, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members to develop their skills and expertise.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to maintain our competitive edge.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 7-20 years of experience in groundwater modelling, including consultancy experience.
  • An appropriate Engineering or Science tertiary qualification.
  • A strong technical background in numerical modelling, hydrogeological conceptualisation, groundwater impact assessment, and hydrogeological investigation.
  • A thorough understanding of Australian groundwater legislation and guidelines related to resource development and infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and delivering large technical projects, particularly complex groundwater modelling projects.
