Project Safety Manager

As a key member of our project team, you will play a vital role in ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel involved in the project.
Your primary responsibility will be to monitor and support the safety function, providing operational support to the project management team. This includes researching and assisting with the development of safety policies specific to the project, as well as conducting routine safety inspections and monitoring work areas.
You will also be responsible for maintaining knowledge of applicable legislative requirements, including government regulations, standards, and policies. Additionally, you will maintain professional relationships with regulatory bodies and clients to foster the professional image of John Holland.
To be successful in this role, you must have a Diploma of Work Health and Safety or equivalent Safety Lead Auditor qualification, as well as experience in construction safety management. You should also possess skills in safety management techniques and tools, and have generalist safety practitioner experience.
