Radiology Workflow Coordinator Role

As a Radiology Workflow Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient coordination of radiologist workflows across key NSW hospital contracts.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a radiology clinic and possess a strong understanding of radiology workflows and IT systems (RIS / PACS).

You will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing daily radiologist workflows to meet reporting KPIs for NSW hospital contracts, building relationships with radiologists, hospital staff, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth collaboration, troubleshooting RIS / PACS and workflow issues, escalating to vendors or internal IT teams when required.

Additionally, you will proactively manage workload distribution, monitor unreported lists, and support backlog solution. Analyze workflow and contract performance data to support planning and reporting and assist with implementation and support of workflow tools and systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience working in a radiology clinic (minimum 2 years in a clinical, clerical, or administration role)
  • Strong understanding of radiology workflows and IT systems (RIS / PACS)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work across multiple stakeholder groups
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Analytical mindset with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and working with performance data
