Transform Lives as a Senior Clinical Psychologist/Health Psychologist
About the Role- As a senior clinical psychologist or health psychologist in geriatric evaluation and management units, you'll provide psychological assessments and interventions for patients with complex medical, functional, and psychosocial needs.
- You'll work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, consulting on and reviewing positive behaviour support plans to promote person-centred and trauma-informed care.
- Providing specialist clinical/health psychology services including assessment, treatment planning, intervention, positive behaviour support planning, evaluation, and consultation to patients and their carers individually and in group settings.
- Participating in interdisciplinary clinical activities to enhance the overall service provided to clients.
- Developing systems for monitoring, reviewing, and improving service standards to clients.
- Full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia, with an area of endorsement in clinical psychology or health psychology.
- Approved supervisor status with the PsyBA at all levels of supervision or eligible to complete PsyBA-accredited supervision training.
- Experience providing psychological treatments.
- High level ability to design, implement, and evaluate psychological procedures and interventions, including psychological assessments, and consultancy services.
- Ability to apply specialist skills in resolving clinical problems.
- Demonstrated abilities in communication, liaison, and teamwork.
