Job Description:

As a Team Manager, you will be responsible for leading a functional team within the Customer Fulfilment Centre (CFC). Your key objectives will include supporting your team in achieving eCommerce KPIs for safety, customer experience, cost, fulfilment, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage day-to-day operations within the facility, providing operational leadership, direction, and support to a high-performance team.
  2. Motivate, encourage, and develop your team.
  3. Support the execution of the strategy implementation plan to achieve the organisation's strategic objectives.
  4. Support the implementation of change initiatives.
  5. Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Ensure resourcing and productivity within your team meet sales demand and escalate any anticipated issues.
  7. Drive a highly customer-focused culture with a focus on delivering the 'perfect order' every time.
  8. Be a champion for safety and lead an operational safety-first culture.
  9. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and share insights with key stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated experience in leading and supervising large teams in fast-paced, complex workplaces combining automated plant operations with labour-intensive and manual workstreams.
  • Proven people leadership capabilities.
  • Proven ability to develop and coach people to meet both their career goals and the organisation's goals.
  • Ability to influence and communicate with site leaders.
  • Ability to utilise operational metrics to drive performance improvements and outcomes.
  • Experience in creating new and better ways for the organisation to be successful.
  • Experience in developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
  • Experience in manoeuvring comfortably through complex policy, process, and people-related organisational dynamics.
  • Ability to provide direction, delegate, and remove obstacles to get work done.
  • Experience working across multiple functional areas of a Store, DC or CFC.
