Job Title: Senior Research and Evaluation Officer

Comcare is seeking a highly skilled Senior Research and Evaluation Officer to join our Mental Health and Research team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the uplift in evaluation capability of Comcare, providing support to the management, design and delivery of research and evaluation initiatives, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure research and evaluation activities align with organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver research and evaluation initiatives to meet stakeholder needs using an appropriate range of research and evaluation methodologies.
  • Develop a draft evaluation framework and supporting tools to uplift evaluation capability across the team and organisation.
  • Collect regular client feedback and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure research and evaluation activities align with organisational objectives.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as health, social sciences, statistics, or public policy.
  • Experience in designing and delivering research and evaluation initiatives in a government or public sector context.
Eligibility and Conditions:
  • Australian citizenship.
  • Character clearance (police records check).
  • Health clearance.
  • Six months probationary period for new engagements.
