Providence Christian College is a co-educational, non-denominational K-12 College with around 1050 students located in Southern River, WA.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Head of Primary School to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading staff development, primary relief coordination, and leading curriculum delivery and pedagogical practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support teacher development, including pre-service, graduate, early career, new to the College staff, and aspiring leaders, to ensure consistent and excellent delivery of the curriculum.
  • Ensure continuity of curriculum delivery by organizing and coordinating relief staff on a day-to-day basis in the Primary School.
  • Lead staff in employing evidence-based pedagogical practices in line with curriculum requirements and a Christian worldview with fidelity.
  • Lead the teaching and learning cycle, including data collection and analysis, programming, documentation, and assessment and reporting processes.
  • Lead the purchasing and management of resources to support learning programmes.
  • Work as part of the Primary School Leadership Team in the daily running of the school and associated events and activities.
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience related to the teaching responsibility required by the position.
  • Current Western Australia Australian Teachers Registration Board Certificate of Registration (TRBWA).
  • Current Working With Children Card.
  • Current Police Clearance.

The successful applicant will be expected to complete the National Principals Child Safe Modules if not already completed. You must have the right to live and work in Australia (VEVO checks will be conducted to confirm your eligibility to work in Australia).
