Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed drawings and tracings using CAD software.
  • Operate plotters and other output devices to generate hard copies of drawing files.
  • Perform design preparation activities including PC board path layout and configuration, internal and external packaging, and control panel layouts.
  • Maintain CAD files by ensuring they are properly managed, updated, and stored according to company guidelines.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technical team members to understand requirements and specifications for designs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must be a US or Australian citizen.
  • Must have a minimum of a BA/BS from an accredited institution.
  • 5+ years technical drafting/design training from either an accredited technical school or military training and 4 years prior drafting experience.
  • Experience managing similar USG projects of size, scope, and complexity.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments with excellent oral and written communication skills.

Clearance Requirements:

Must Possess an active US Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph or AUS PV Security Clearance.

This role will be located in Alice Springs at a 4,400-acre facility with approximately 687,000 square feet of mission and support space.
