About Our Team

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team at Wellington Aboriginal Corporation Health Service. As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, culturally safe oral health care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide supportive assistance to clinicians in patient care, preparing equipment and instruments for dental procedures.
  • Maintain stringent infection control standards in accordance with Australian Dental Association and NSW Health guidelines.
  • Ensure accurate data management using digital information systems and patient records.

The ideal candidate will be organised, compassionate and committed to making a positive impact in Aboriginal health. Key selection criteria include recent experience as a Dental Assistant, ability to assist in four-handed environments and effective infection control procedures. Certificate III in Dental Assisting or recognised equivalent is mandatory, along with Working With Children Check and COVID vaccination proof.
