Role Overview:

In the capacity of a key member of the Sanctions division within Financial Crime Analytics, you will be instrumental in upholding and advancing the Group's Sanctions frameworks. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing detection mechanisms, scrutinizing financial crime data, and executing strategies aimed at risk reduction and financial safeguarding.

  • Develop and refine detection algorithms for optimal performance.
  • Effectively manage emerging risks and associated incidents.
  • Examine data patterns and irregularities utilizing analytical tools such as SAS and Teradata.
Qualifications:
  • Background in Banking or Financial Services.
  • Expertise in SQL or SAS programming languages.
  • Statistical proficiency in R, Python, and data visualization platforms like Tableau.
  • Familiarity with Sanctions, Financial Crime sectors, and payment systems including SWIFT.
